In short: almost everything DayGuide knows is kept only on your phone, and uninstalling
the app deletes it. For anything else, email us and we'll delete it within 30 days.
Data on your phone
Your reminders, routines, completion history and settings are stored only on your phone. To delete
them, do either of these:
- Uninstall DayGuide, or
- Go to your phone's Settings → Apps → DayGuide → Storage and tap
Clear data.
Data on our server
Our server keeps very little, and none of it includes your name, email or anything you type in the
app:
- A random anonymous account code, which the app uses to talk to our server
- A scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your phone's Android ID, with the date
your 14 free days began
How to ask us to delete it
- Email contact@day-guide.com
with the subject "DayGuide data deletion request".
- We delete your anonymous account code within 30 days and email you to confirm. Because these
records aren't linked to your name or email, we'll reply if we need details to find them.
What we keep
The record of when a phone's free days began is kept only to stop the free period being claimed
again, and is deleted automatically one year after the free days began. It can't be used to
identify you.
Purchases
Payments are handled by Google Play, not by us, and we never see your card details. To manage or
delete your Google purchase history, see
Google Play Help.
More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
